ROBIN WILLIAMS ENTERS REHAB

The adored comedian Robin Williams has checked himself into rehab for an addiction to alcohol reports The National Enquirer. The actor has battled addictions in the past: he admitted to being addicted to alcohol and cocaine during his years on the sitcom Mork and Mindy. Williams cleaned up and went cold turkey in 1983 when his first wife became pregnant with his son Zach and following the drug overdose of friend John Belushi.
The actor’s rep said in a statement, “after 20 year Robin Williams found himself drinking again and has decided to take proactive measures to deal with this for his own well-being and the well-being of his family, he asks that you respect his and his family's privacy during this time…He looks forward to returning to work this fall to support his upcoming film releases."
